The Definition of "Language" : The method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way.
The Quran was Revealed to Our prophet Mohammed [Salah Allahu Alihee wasalam] in the Arabic Language, the language that some of you may know. Allah Subhanu Wa Taaa says:
فانما يسرناه بلسانك لتبشر به المتقين وتنذر به قوما لدا
"So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous....and warn thereby a hostile people"
But does this mean it should prevent the non arabic speakers from memorizing? Ofcourse not, as a matter of fact: you will find non Arabic speakers who work harder than some Arabic speaker towards the Quran. And This shows The Lack of Arabic speakers towards Quran Memorization But at the same time, you will find the non Arabic speakers who use this excuse [The language] not to memorize the Quran..

We all seek towards the same goal: gaining good deeds, wether it be zakat, Salah, Fasting etc. But our problem is that we always forget to look at our intentions!! for whose sake are we doing it? to please Allah? or to please those around us [the people]?
If it is to please Allah then know that this is the path that will lead you to Jannah by Allahs mercy, but to please the people will only lead you astray! Have you not heard Allah' saying..
وإن تطع أكثر من في الأرض يضلوك عن سبيل الله إن يتبعون إلا الظن وإن هم إلا يخرصون
"And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allah's Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie."
surat al An'aam 116
so make sure you keep you're intention pure and keep [the following verse] in mind :
وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفاء
"And they were not commanded except to worship Allah , [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth"

Welcome to your first journey with the Quran !! By Allahs permission, I have completed the translation for the First episode of "Travel with The Quran". This Episode simply explains the idea, you will see the many different countries they've traveled to and shaykh fahad will explain in details the rest for you guys =) Enjoy it!
"Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) - And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? - The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months).-Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees,Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn."

The Quran, the words of Allah. It has a great role in our lives, but most of us neglect it today, we are too busy with this life, we can only make time for our family, friends, school, work but when we are asked about the Quran we ALWAYS have an excuse, this is due to our lack of knowledge about this great Book! Let me explain what this blog is about:
Last Ramadan there was a very successful show called "مسافر مع القران" which means "travel with the Quran" and I've noticed many people after watching this show started memorizing the Book of Allah, I was curious what made them become so motivated to memorize the Quran after watching it? so I've decided to watch it myself and to my surprise I found myself memorizing the Quran by the fifth episode of this show, 'veI realized how much time i have been wasting reading others books than this book, I've realized my lack of knowledge towards the Speech of Allah, Why do we focus on many books [novels,magazines..etc] but when it comes to Quran, we always have an excuse. I told my friends about this show [non arabic speakers] and they are now very eager to watch this show, so I have decided to translate it to English InshaAllah. And I have no doubt it will be very successful in the west by Allahs permission. Before I share with you the first episode, i would like to introduce you to those who came up with the idea of this great Show!
Starting with ShaykhFahad al Kandriand shaykhYusuf Al Ansariit was them that came up with the idea. They started their journey back in 2010, they traveled to Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, Chechnya and Mauritania to meet such great people- the people who memorized the Quran. You will meet kids as young as 3 yrs of age and as old as 70yrs who have memorized it. [yes.. kids who started memorizing by age of 3!!!] Each of those individuals will share with us their beautiful experience with the Quran, how long did it take them to memorize the Quran? What tips did they use? What was the reason that made them memorize it? what blessings came their way after they have memorized it?... all of the answers will be in this show!
I ask Allah sincerely to Reward the Crew who worked so hard for the sake of Allah, for the sake to motivate us to become closer to Allah by memorizing, understanding and acting upon the Quran.
