Muadh, what can I say about Muadh.. its the boy that touched everyone's heart... We have met him in previous episodes when he made Shaykh Fahad cry and the viewers as well [Including my family!] and What makes him special is the wisdom that he has been granted. Many of those who are sincere in memorizing the Quran // good understanding of the Quran are granted Hikmah [wisdom]. And by Allah, I see something in this young man that I have never seen in anyone else. May Allah make us sincere towards Him and Grant us knowledge and Hikmah.

When a person is on a journey, it always begins with motivation and excitement but in the middle of the journey he/she will sometimes find somethings that may lead him lose this motivation... same goes for us and our children. When you first start teaching your child the Quran, you need to make sure that you keep motivating them... because once you stop, they will lose that motivation and slowly start to back up.
Make sure you are a Mother/Father who's raising your child upon the truth, a child is never too young for knowledge, especially the Quran.
Many of us Don't realize the Lack we have towards our teachers, Not only Quran Teachers but the teachers in general. One of the smallest example I can give you is drinking tea in class... "Huh What?" is what you are probably wondering right?? listen to this...Last week While I was sitting in class listening to my teacher explaining the importance of Knowledge and the importance of students etiquette .. she mentioned something which made me realize the lack we all have: The best generations [salaful saalih] if they wanted to teach their students, they don't welcome any students to their circles - since they truly believe knowledge is something so precious and has a high status therefore, not everyone can seek it... IF they would see a man sitting down and drinking tea or hanging out without reading..they would say 'This man is not worthy of seeking knowledge or joining our circles of knowledge' !!! and when I thought about it...
It's true. Our teachers make TIME to come and help us understand our Deen in the best way which is the way of the Salaf. And this takes time and patience. So when I heard this, I've realized the Lack we all have towards our teachers.. sometimes It's the smallest things that make a big difference.
So imagine a Quran Teacher?? A teacher who makes time to help you Understand and memorize the Speech of Allah. And NOTHING is greater than the Speech of Our Lord! Tabark AlRahman.

It is very important to start encouraging your child to understand and memorize the Quran at a young age! Do you not hear the stories of the Scholars...the first book they memorize is the book of Allah at a very young age [6+]. Some people may say "But hes too young" Never allow this phrase to stop you! Can one memorize without understanding? Ofcourse not. Even for non arabic speakers...mashaAllah I have met many amazing non-Arabic speakers who memorize the Quran with understanding each surat they memorize! How? They simply read the English translation first and then they begin to memorize -Verse by verse- May Allah Bless them and Most of the ones I met are somali =) Shout out to all the Somali's out there!
Turkey... is a city thats filled with Quranic institutes as we have seen In the previous episodes! Today we will meet the Imam of a certain Masjid in Turkey. We will Also meet the Students and hear their recitation.
Most of us may fall under this category... memorizing Surahs from the Quran without tajweed!!
That was one of the biggest mistakes I've made on my first journey with the Quran!! I was memorizing few pages from certain Surah...but I was doing it without tajweed... and when I was tested by one of the sisters who knows the Ruling of Tajweed, She told me I have to go all the way back to the beginning of the Surah and start All over because The speech of Allah must be read Correctly with its Ruling...and months after [By Allahs permission] I realized it sure did make a difference!!

Egypt, It is well known for their Qur'aa [Those who recite the Quran] - Im sure most of us have heard the recitation of Shaykh Minshawy and Shaykh Abdul Baasit. In this episode we will meet a young man who's Egyptian but this young man isn't like everyone else... he's one of Allah miracles. I personally cried when I watched this episode... I realized my lack towards the Quran, especially knowing the Health Allah blessed me with. It has been a while since my last post, due to my midterms.. I haven't been able to update everyone. Firstly, Let me start with my new plan with this show. Since I am over loaded with work SubhanAllah, I wasn't expecting this much work, so I've decided to post up the rest of the Episodes by the Translator I found on Youtube May Allah reward them. Douaa, is to envoke Allah subhanahu' wa talaa for any matter, anytime ! sisters and brothers..By Allah, there has not been one time where I supplicated to Allah having full Yaqeen[ certainty] He will answer it... and it wasn't answered. All it takes is for the slave to believe in the speech of Allah with certainty. The above Ayah is very clear, all you have to do is to believe in it and make douaa! simple =)

Our trip today is to turkey, I personally have been to the masaajid in turkey - mashaAllah very beautiful country and their people are very nice and take good care of the Quran - Enjoy and benefit!

This is another way to help you memorize the Quran, choosing the right company! Surround yourself with those who are seeking the same goal as you, work together on memorization! both of you will push one another to keep up with this plan. There will come time during your journey of the Quran where you start to feeling less motivated.. but if you have good company..you will have that person to push you and motivate you again to continue with this memorization until you both reach your goal and become from the People of Allah [Mentioned in the Sunnah: the people who memorize the Quran are the people of Allah] - I ask Allah to make us one of them.

By far, this is the most emotional episode I've ever seen, This wise young man made shaykh Fahad and the rest cry.. By Allah when I first watched it, it made me cry so much - do you want to know something?? It was this episode that made me take the first step to start memorizing the Quran. The Definition of "Language" : The method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way.
The Quran was Revealed to Our prophet Mohammed [Salah Allahu Alihee wasalam] in the Arabic Language, the language that some of you may know. Allah Subhanu Wa Taaa says:
فانما يسرناه بلسانك لتبشر به المتقين وتنذر به قوما لدا
"So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous....and warn thereby a hostile people"
But does this mean it should prevent the non arabic speakers from memorizing? Ofcourse not, as a matter of fact: you will find non Arabic speakers who work harder than some Arabic speaker towards the Quran. And This shows The Lack of Arabic speakers towards Quran Memorization But at the same time, you will find the non Arabic speakers who use this excuse [The language] not to memorize the Quran..

We all seek towards the same goal: gaining good deeds, wether it be zakat, Salah, Fasting etc. But our problem is that we always forget to look at our intentions!! for whose sake are we doing it? to please Allah? or to please those around us [the people]?
If it is to please Allah then know that this is the path that will lead you to Jannah by Allahs mercy, but to please the people will only lead you astray! Have you not heard Allah' saying..
وإن تطع أكثر من في الأرض يضلوك عن سبيل الله إن يتبعون إلا الظن وإن هم إلا يخرصون
"And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allah's Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie."
surat al An'aam 116
so make sure you keep you're intention pure and keep [the following verse] in mind :
وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفاء
"And they were not commanded except to worship Allah , [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth"

We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) - And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? - The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months).-Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees,Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn."

The Quran, the words of Allah. It has a great role in our lives, but most of us neglect it today, we are too busy with this life, we can only make time for our family, friends, school, work but when we are asked about the Quran we ALWAYS have an excuse, this is due to our lack of knowledge about this great Book! Let me explain what this blog is about:
Last Ramadan there was a very successful show called "مسافر مع القران" which means "travel with the Quran" and I've noticed many people after watching this show started memorizing the Book of Allah, I was curious what made them become so motivated to memorize the Quran after watching it? so I've decided to watch it myself and to my surprise I found myself memorizing the Quran by the fifth episode of this show, 'veI realized how much time i have been wasting reading others books than this book, I've realized my lack of knowledge towards the Speech of Allah, Why do we focus on many books [novels,magazines..etc] but when it comes to Quran, we always have an excuse. I told my friends about this show [non arabic speakers] and they are now very eager to watch this show, so I have decided to translate it to English InshaAllah. And I have no doubt it will be very successful in the west by Allahs permission. Before I share with you the first episode, i would like to introduce you to those who came up with the idea of this great Show!
Starting with ShaykhFahad al Kandriand shaykhYusuf Al Ansariit was them that came up with the idea. They started their journey back in 2010, they traveled to Turkey, Morocco, Egypt, Chechnya and Mauritania to meet such great people- the people who memorized the Quran. You will meet kids as young as 3 yrs of age and as old as 70yrs who have memorized it. [yes.. kids who started memorizing by age of 3!!!] Each of those individuals will share with us their beautiful experience with the Quran, how long did it take them to memorize the Quran? What tips did they use? What was the reason that made them memorize it? what blessings came their way after they have memorized it?... all of the answers will be in this show!
